Platinum Blonde

A few weeks ago, I found myself engrossed in the 1931 film, "Platinum Blonde". Where has that movie been all my life?!

But let's talk about the lead actor, Robert Williams. Oh my word! Every time he was on screen, I found myself transfixed on his every word and movement. He was this magical balance between comedy, sincerity, and genius.

I couldn't get over the fact that I was watching a film from 1931 that felt so incredibly relevant. The movement, the dialogue, the storyline. And yes, I absolutely cried at the end.

So if you're in the mood for a cinematic treat, go rent--no, go buy the film, "Platinum Blonde".

Wisdom's Knocking:

A true classic is timeless.
